1960's General Electric (GE) Radio
$295.00
Radio once required a little patience. You turned the dial past static and fragments of distant stations until something came through clearly enough to make you stop. This 1960s General Electric radio comes from that analog world, when listening involved knobs, tuning scales, speakers and circuitry rather than a screen.
Taken apart, the radio reveals the physical machinery behind something as invisible as a broadcast. Its controls and internal components turn a familiar household object into a study of how sound used to arrive.
