1985 Comdial Rotary Dial Telephone
$195.00
By 1985, push-button phones were becoming commonplace, but the Comdial Slimline was still asking callers to dial every digit the old-fashioned way. Put a finger in the wheel, pull it around, release it, listen to it return—and repeat. Even making a phone call had a rhythm.
The Slimline squeezed that familiar rotary experience into a narrower form, giving the telephone a distinctive profile of its own. Removed from its everyday role, the dial, handset, cord and mechanical details become reminders of just how physical communication once was.
