2000's Samsung Mobile Phone
$245.00
There was a point when a mobile phone's most important feature was simply being a phone. Samsung's GT-E1120 comes from that wonderfully straightforward era: physical number keys, a tiny screen, a removable battery and a form small enough to disappear into a pocket.
Seen now, its simplicity is almost striking. Before smartphones absorbed cameras, maps, music, banking and nearly everything else, devices like this were purpose-built communication tools. Its buttons, circuit board and compact hardware preserve a moment just before the mobile phone became something much bigger than a telephone.
